The warmest of invitations is extended to College Staff to join us for one of the event highlights within our annual programme.

Pack a picnic & enjoy additional hospitality provided by the College with a subsidised charge for wristbands for children of Staff to use all the entertainment provided. 

 Members of staff are welcome to bring an adult guest & purchase wristbands at a subsidised rate of £6.25 per child.

All attendees (adults and children) must register in advance 
Maximum number of 6 tickets per Staff booking.

Please register to join us for Picnic & Pimm's at the Pavilion

(formerly Foundation Family Fun Day)

All members of the Stortfordian Community are warmly invited to pack a picnic and join us for one of the highlights within our annual events programme.

In the glorious surroundings of the Doggart Pavilion on Witherden Field the OS cricket team will take on a College X1 in a 20/20 match to confirm the next recipient of the coveted Hudson cricket trophy.

Guests will enjoy not only top flight cricket, outstanding entertainment for all ages but also  complimentary afternoon tea treats & Pimm's and soft drinks alongside their own picnics.

An ice cream van will also be in attendance all afternoon to purchase delicious sweet delights to keep everyone cool!

Lots of entertainment will keep our younger guests happy & active. 

For the first time ever we will be welcoming along Steve Sausage – Magician & Multi award winning family entertainer performing in a beautiful bell tent during the cricket break for tea.

Throughout the afternoon children can also enjoy  

Segways,  Bungee Trampolines,  Climbing Wall , Inflatable assault course , Penalty shoot out, Numerous large Giant Garden Games (croqkick, connect 4, giant jenga, frisbee target practice) & Crazy Golf with a small bouncy castle for our youngest guests to bounce the afternoon away on!

For catering and insurance purposes all guests are politely requested to register attendance and purchase wristbands for children's entertainment in advance using the link below.

Staff Adults & Guest: Free of Charge

Children of Staff aged 3 and over: Subsidised rate of £6.25 per wristband for unlimited use of entertainment

Children of Staff aged 2 and under: Wristband provided free of charge

Seating - please bring along folding chairs and picnic rugs and find a perfect spot to enjoy the afternoon.

Weather forecast - please ensure you bring plenty of sunscreen and drinking water as shady areas are limited.

Event photographs: Professional photographs will be taken throughout the afternoon and published on the Stortfordian Foundation portal (only visible to registered Stortfordian portal members). If you wish to be excluded from photographs please indicate so when completing registration process.
